Father

My Motivation
I grew up without a father, but I did
grew up with my grandpa and he was
my father figure. He conducts a
group of fathers every Monday to try
to educate them to be a better
father. Hes also part of a group in
church, it is called Grupo de
Matrimonios.

24 million children in America(1 out of 3 children) live without a
father
Children involved with fathers do better across every measure
Father absence usually lead to poverty, maternal and child
health issues, incarceration, crime, teen pregnancy, child abuse,
drug and alcohol abuse, education problems, and obesity.
Father involvement during the first 10 years of childhood proof
better socio-emotional and academic functioning.
Father-absent homes are almost 4 times more likely to be poor
than a child in married-couple family.
Children born to single mothers show higher levels of aggressive
behavior.
Being raised without a father( females), are less likely to achieve
a high school diploma because of teen pregnancy.
