METHOD OF STATEMENT

CASTING OF RC SLAB, WALL and BEAM

Survey and mark the location of the New Slab according to the approved
construction drawing.
Cut the existing RC Structure that will be connecting to new structure by
using concrete cutter and roughen the surface if necessary.
Mark the reinforcement holes need to be drilled and invite RTO for
inspection.
Proceed with the drilling works once the RTO already approved.
Insert the required reinforcement using the HILTI RE-500 under the
presence of the RTO.
Upon the approval of the RTO, proceed with the installation of
reinforcement bar according to the consultant approved construction
drawing.
Clean off the working area and invite RTO for inspection prior to casting.
Provide PE endorsed propping system if needed.
Upon the approval of RTO, proceed with the casting using G40 Ready Mix
Concrete.
Using an elephant pump and Piping 150mm diameter to distribute the
concrete to the casting area.
For RC Wall, concrete placement will be carried out layer by layer and will
be compacted properly.
Minimum of 2 concrete vibrators to be used for casting.
Proceed with the structural clearance.
