This document outlines the course content for an embedded systems course covering both 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers. The course will cover the 8051 microcontroller architecture, assembly language programming, and interfacing I/O devices. It will also cover communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and CAN. For 32-bit microcontrollers, topics will include ARM architecture, instruction set, interfacing devices like LEDs and motors, on-chip modules, real-time operating systems, and case studies of embedded systems.
