Dear Substitute

Thank you for taking my classes today.

GENERAL RULES FOR MY CLASSROOM

Everything you need to be successful in my classroom is in the substitute folder. Take

some time to read through the folder. Familiarize yourself with the routines and class
set up. Pay special attention to the team schedule, lunch schedule, bathroom breaks and
seating chart.

Students are not allowed to walk around in my class or leave my classroom without
permission or a pass.

They are allowed to sharpen their pencils as they come into the classroom and only
afterward if they ask permission.

Taking my 3rd Block to lunch should not be an issue. They know what to do. Appoint
Carlee Whitt and Tyler Ross as bathroom monitors.

Everybody will leave the class at 11:08 AM and go to the bathroom to wash their hands.
Line them up and then take them to the cafeteria.

After lunch at 11:40 AM they will go to the bathroom behind the cafeteria as they leave
the cafeteria, line up and then take them down the 8th grade hallway. They will stop at
their lockers to retrieve their book bags. Then take them to the classroom.

At the end of the 3rd Block at 12:50 the students who have PE will line up at Mrs.
Staverman’s class and the students who have to go to keyboarding and such will line up
outside my classroom. You will walk them down the 6th grade hallway to the 8th grade
hallway where they will attend their PAV classes.

From 1:00 PM you have planning until the end of the day :)

Please take some time at the end of the day to tell me how your day was by filling in the
substitute feedback form in the substitute folder.

Thanks
Vincent Pienaar
