Students pursuing certain degrees may apply for academic projects at IPR lasting at least 2 months as a full-time activity. The head of the student's department should send a request to IPR including the student's details and their college guide's name, and optionally an IPR faculty contact. If accepted, IPR will provide an ID card and subsidized food, but no other facilities. Students must submit a written report and presentation signed by their IPR guide upon completion to receive a certificate.

Academic Project guidelines
1. Students pursuing B.E./B. Tech./M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc.(Physics) may apply for the
project at IPR for their partial fulfilment of degree. Duration of the project should be at least for 2 months and it should be a full-time activity. He / She can however go for attending viva/presentation at the College / University with a prior permission from the IPR Project Guide. 2. No application for the Internship / Industrial training would be entertained by IPR. 3. The HOD/Principal of the College/University should write a request note to Chairman - Project Coordination Committee through email to [email protected] along with the scanned copy of the duly filled/signed recommendation letter (Please download it from IPR website under Academic Project). Please also specify the following details: name and discipline name of the Guide at the College/University IPR Facultys name, if already contacted. (Applications without the name of IPR guide can also be submitted). 4. Number of students per branch per College/University will be decided upon the availability of projects at IPR.. 5. IPR administration will provide an I-card. Project students would not be not allowed to work at IPR without I-card. 6. Subsidized food coupon would be provided to the project student. NO other facilities will be provided by IPR. 7. At the end of the project, it is mandatory for the student to submit a written report duly signed by the IPR project guide as well as make an open presentation at IPR. 8. IPR administration will provide a certificate to the project student on successful completion of the project.
