CAREER OBJECTIVE: A novice with strong logical bent of mind and good analytical skills aspiring for a challenging opportunity with an organization where my skills are enhanced and knowledge enriched for the benefit of organization. ACADEMIC PROJECT: Title: Power Quality improvement in DC drives using matlab/simulink. Size: 03 Role: Team Leader Description: Electric drive play an important role in industry and in our day to day life. While using dc sources as inputs to DC drives we will get rated outputs. To get variable output we are converting AC to DC. In this conversion process we are getting harmonics in voltages and currents due to switching devices. With the elimination of that harmonics by using various filters we are getting pure DC. So quality of power is maintained and also we are able to use this drives in various applications. We increased pulse number to reduce harmonics. Various reduction methods such as L C passive filters, shunt active filters and PWM are applied in each case and quality of power which we are feeding is increased.
