Infrastructure Issues 23022015

This document contains records of internal issues reported across three dates for the Portal Server, Supervision application, and Service workflow. Issue 1 on 3/2/2015 involved all Vizor systems being unable to access the database. Issue 2 on 9/2/2015 was the same problem. Issue 3 on 23/02/205 involved being unable to access either the Portal or Supervision systems. The issues were reported to various teams and individuals, and detailed descriptions of error messages or connectivity problems were provided. The issues were solved by restarting servers, checking port connectivity between application and database servers, and changing the TCP port in the SQL configuration. The estimated times to resolve the issues ranged from 1 to 2 days.

Amr :I tried telnet to database server 10.175.1.10 with default port 1433 in server 10.65.2.10 ,which

We have issue in Communication between App Server and Database server.
Ping 10.175.1.10 : OK
Telnet with sql server port for port 1443 : ok
Telnet with sql server port for port 1433 : Not working

How it solved

Issue in server ,solved by restart server

Security team checked port and connectivity everything is working, they advised issue
internally in server.
Amr: I changed TCP Port that's enable App Server to Communicate with DB Server.
Port was 1443 ,changed to 1433 In SQL Data Configuration .I cant confirm, if anybody
changed port or any restrictions on network security added.
