FAFSA Week Event to Provide Help to College-Bound Seniors:


Students in Need of Money “hafta FAFSA”

Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation will be offering free financial aid services to
college-bound seniors and families as part of FAFSA Week. The event will be held at the Work and
Learn Center’s Doyle Administration Building location on February 18, 2010 at 10:40 AM.
Developed as part of Wisconsin’s College Access Challenge Grant, FAFSA Week was officially
proclaimed by Governor Jim Doyle and runs from February 15 th-19th. During the event, Great Lakes’
team of College Access Advisors will be on hand to help students and their families complete the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA is the single most
important step students can take to turn college dreams into a reality. Many students would be unable
to afford or attend college without the funds accessed by filling out the FAFSA.
