I. Invocation
To invoke INSYNC type TSO ISYNC

To imitate Fileaid:
Use full screen mode automatically by updating your session profile:
After invoking INSYNC, type:
0 then 1
Now change the below options as shown:
Display 88 level values to NO
Hold vertical scroll position to YES
Force FS (unformatted) to YES
III Exit ISPF (to save changes to your session profile), by typing:
=X on command line
=X on command line
=X on command line
Reenter ISPF by typing ISPF
Invoke INSYNC by typing TSO ISYNC

The above changes will do the following:
Prevent 88 levels from showing on the formatted screen
Hold the scroll position to the same page of the layout, when changing records
Show the full screen version of the selected file, similar to Fileaid
III. Initial setup for Edit

To enable use of formatted display and recovery:
VI Fill in the dataset name with a KSDS dataset name
VII Change the below options as shown:
Use subset selection criteria to NO
Use existing subset selection criteria to NO
Use COBOL or PL/1 layout to format display to YES
Log dataset changes to YES
Print audit report to NO
Fill in the COPY LIBRARY as shown:
ISPF: PROJECT ===>SP.NDV
GROUP ===>XP.STD1
TYPE ===>CPY
MEMBER ===>appropriate copylib member
IV. Commonly used valid EDIT line commands for a KSDS file:
