to turn someones day around
with just a smile.

Report Cards
Remember, as report cards have already
come and gone, to continue to encourage
your children to work hard and strive to
reach the goals they ha ve set for
themselves. Success takes hard work and
dedication and our only hope is that each
and every one of our students has the
ability to conquer a goal that they have
put so much eort toward achieving. We
will continue to work with students on
setting goals, developing strategic plans
to reach those goals, and encouraging students to master their current
level of understanding. It is extremely important for students to
understand the significance of setting a goal and following that goal
through all the way to the end. Students may be learning organizational
skills, test-taking tips, successful homework practices and other tools to
help them thrive academically. Giving your children the opportunity to
practice these skills at home will only help them in the long run.
environment. While it is our duty to act as the main liaison between school,
groups you would like for us to focus on or address individually with your
the community and home, we ask for new ideas in hopes to create the
perfect bridge for families. If there are specific ideas, lessons, or small
child, please do not hesitate to contact us.
P.A.W.S. Program
Until Spring is here remember a kind word is like a spring day. Kind words are
free, spread them as you wish!
Respecting Others
Parents teach the best lessons
about respect. When children
see respect at home, they are
more likely to use it in other
areas of their lives.
Clearly state expectations.
Teach the reason behind
manners.
Acknowledge respectful
actions.
PSSA Testing
With PSSA testing quickly approaching us, we would like to remind parents
and guardians that these assessments measure how well students have
achieved in reading, mathematics, science, and writing according to
Pennsylvanias world-class academic standards. By using these standards,
educators, parents, and administrators are able to evaluate their students
strengths and weaknesses to increase students achievement scores. Please
remember how important it is for students to get a good nights rest and to
attend school during this critical time.
