Enter new info (title, description, photo or webpage url and coordinates) for new placemarks
Save .xls spreadsheet

Import into Google Documents as a new Spreadsheet, then Share / Publish as a web page -->
When publishing, Publish Sheet 1 and under 'Get a Link.' choose TXT (Plain text) -->
Copy the url (which should end in '&output=txt" and paste this link in a new browser -->
This should allow you to download a ".tsv" file -->
Change the ".tsv" file to a .kml file and post it for viewing in Google Earth or Google Maps -->
