2. 02 pits having upto 2~3 mm depth at north side shell wall.
1. Slight pitting at scattered locations (depth ~0.5mm)
2. 02 nos. deep pits (3.8mm and 2.5mm) at east side of shell near M3
manway.
3. Minimum thickness of 50.2 mm recorded (design 52mm)
1. 03 pinholes in shell to top dish end welds.
2. other observations of pitting and pinhole at ladder rung weld found as
such.

1. Gas pore in gas inlet nozzle to dish end nozzle.

2. porosity in shell Manway nozzle (M4) at 02 locaitons.
3. 03 crater cracks in , Manway nozzle (M3), thermowell nozzle (N8) and gas outlet noz

OBSERVATIONS
BOTTOM GRID
1. Crack in shell to plate welding at east and west side of the north side
grid support beam.
2. 2mm deep pit in capping of bottom head to circumferential weld.

WORK DONE
1. Grinding followed by repair welding carried out at
cracked support beam weld
2. Grinding of pit revealed a slight linear indicaiton.
However, not grinded further.

1. Pinholes removed by grinding of up to 02mm

1. Deep grinding carried out at manway (M4) and
Level 2 FFS assesment carried out and found ok.
2. All other defects found satisfactory
