1 Statement of the Problem


1.1.1 General Statement of the Problem
How to develop and implement Reservation and Billing System for Seafarers Inn?
The main goal of this study is to develop a system that eradicates the slow transactions
due to manual business procedures. It provides accurate and consistent information in terms of
their billing and guest information.
1.1.2 Specific Problem

Reserving and cancellation of observation takes time because of manual

transaction.
Knowing room availability takes time because the front desk has to check which

key is not on the key cabinet.


Calculating the customers bill can lead to miscalculations because human

errors cannot be prevented.


Generating reports takes time because the manager has to check such record.
The management does not charge damages done by the guest.
The management reserves guest even with down payment.
