Objective:
To develop an open source agricultural app which can cater the needs of farmers and give them
the benefit of technological advancements.

Abstract:
This proposed application aims to help farmers choose crops and marketing for the produce.
This app will take location as input from the farmer and will specify the crops suitable for growth
in accordance with the soil type, climatic conditions and irrigation in that region. This app will
also tell the user all the essential requirements like type of fertilizers, amount of water input,
pesticides, insecticides, etc. Also how long the fertility of soil will last if that particular crop is
grown and what other crops could be grown along with it in crop rotation or strip farming. This
app would give the current market worth of that crop based on information from the internet.
