The topic we undertaken for our project is a foundation for a commercial complex
near Villivakkam (Chennai) at an estimated cost of nearly 1.75crores.The work has been
awarded to M/S CCCL . Foundations are made as bored (DMC-Direct Mud Centering)
pile. There are about 53 piles of varying dia (900, 1200 mm ) and the total depth varies
from 35m - 41m.The site had been dug up to 2.5m below GL and total no of rigs operated
are 5 nos. and the minimum saw cut length is 3m.
