Hello all, I believe that lot of people may have come across this problem where

they might not have been able to place the .net symbols of stairs and ladders et
c. This problem gets resolved by installing the .net 2.0 config wizard and then
running the caspol command on each client, which I believe is not right. If at a
ll the same problems are to be faced by all the users why cant Intergraph create
a standard procedure for installing .net 2.0 on all the client and deliver it a
s a part of pre-requisites. My core issue is to understand how else or easier is
to address the placement of .net symbols apart from the above procedure.less

Greetings, actually this problem comes from SP3D V9, Back there when I solved fo
r the first time, It took me a lot of tests even with some Intergraph guy who di
dn't understand what was happening. Intergraph always recommend to avoid this to
the users to have a symbol share folder on the server where the caspol is done
and theoretically this problem is avoided but actually this doesn't work either.
Like you said the caspol must be done on each client and the .net must be insta
lled as well.
