WHAT ARE FRAMES?
Frames allow you to display the area
of a web browser into multiple panels. They are independent from each other; each frame has it's own scroll bar.
OPENING THE FRAMES PANEL:
1. On the Menu, click Window.
2. Click Frames. 3. On the Frames panel, click the corresponding frame. 4. The setting will be displayed on the Property Inspector.
Dividing a Page into Frames:
1. On the Menu, click Modify.
2. Click Frameset. 3. Click Split Frame Left and the window will split into two. 4. Scroll bars will automatically appear in the frame if the content does not fit the frame borders.
Changing the Size of a Frame
1. Click your mouse on the border of
the frame. 2. When the double-headed arrow appears, drag the mouse to resize the frame.
Setting the Frame Attributes
1. Click the edge of the frame that you
want to change the attributes. 2. The Property Inspector shows new set of commands for frames. 3. Click the field to set the attributes such as Borders, Border color, Border width, Frameset Rows and Columns.
inserting Image or Text in a Frame
1. To insert text, click inside the frame and type your text. 2. To insert an image, click inside the frame and on the Insert panel click Image. 3. On the Select Image Source, select the filename that contains the image that you would like to insert. 4. You can set the attributes of the image by clicking the image and change the settings from the commands in the Property Inspector.
