EBOLA

WHATS EBOLA?
Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) or simply Ebola, is a serious and mortal disease of
humans. It was first detected in 1976 in Africa.
This disease is transmitted from person to person by blood, secretions or
other body fluids.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?


The infected person feels:

Fever
Headache
Sore throat
Muscle pain
Vomits
Diarrhea
In some cases hemorrhages

WHATS THE TREATMENT?


At present this disease has no cure, so it is only possible support measures.
These includes: for fever, acetaminophen, they should also drink a lot of
liquid to avoid dehydration and stay on bed to rest.

HOW CAN IT BE PREVENTED?


World Health Organization (WHO) recommends:

We should wash our hands constantly


We should avoid contact with wild animals
We should cook food thoroughly
And the most important, educate people
