Basic Project Checklist

(A good page 20pts; term limits 140 points, 2 projects, and 1presentation)
Basic Project Format Checklist: the more items from the reverse side that can be used the more
authoritative the result. Also looking at time and effort; thus, a groups points may be split.
Types to choose from:
1) Biographical report: 5pages on one science figure
2) Topic Report; 5pages of background research.
3) Model/application of science ideas; 2+pages includes how to build it.
4) Experiment; 3+pages with sections noted on reverse side of this page.
All text should be typed and in 12 pt font. Poster Titles might be an exception.

Format should include a TITLE and Headings


Double spaced with normal margins. Use list format for materials and steps
The first page should include a paragraph of what made you pick the topic i.e. I was in class
when we were talking about ABC and someone asked 123. It got me thinking and.

Page max of 3 pictures, charts (tables, graphs, diagrams), or figures

Each picture, chart, etc needs to be referred to in the text or by a caption

Any picture, chart, etc included should be no larger than half a page unless small
details would not be viewable otherwise

Cite in a reference section at least 1 source for experiments or applications, and 3 sources for
topic reports, for example:

www.abc.com

http:123.org

John Does book on the project subject

Include a sentence explaining your favorite part of the project.
