Zach - Word Document Tutorial
Audacity
Step 1. On your desktop there will be an icon that looks
like a yellow head with blue headphones on it and under it
will say Audacity. Double click on it to open the program.
Step 2. Once the program is open there will be many icons
to click on. Make sure you have a microphone plugged in
or already built into your computer to record audio.
Step 3. To start recording, at the top of the program, there
will be a red circle. Click the red circle icon to start
recording your audio.
Step 4. To pause your recording, press the pause icon at
the top of the program and it will pause your recording. If
you click it again, it will start your recording from where
you left off from the point you paused it at.
Step 5. Once you are done with your recording, you can
stop it by clicking the yellow square at the top of the
program to stop the recording.
Step 6. To hear your recording before saving it, click the
green play button icon at the top of the program and you
can hear your recording.
Step 7. If you were not happy with your recording, you can
click Edit at the top of the program and a bar will pop
up with different choices. Click Undo Recording to
delete the recording.
Step 8. Once you are happy with your recording, to save
it, click File at the top of the program and click Save
Project As.
