This lesson plan aims to teach students about how technology has changed over time. Students will research the history of a particular technology, from its original purpose to its modern equivalent. They will then present their findings to the class in a 1-2 minute speech. The teacher will provide resources like a QM Loans box containing books, and computers for research. Students will be assessed on their ability to accurately research and explain the history of a chosen technology. Differentiation strategies include varying textbooks by ability and teacher aide support.
