To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Scott Vance and I am the Pastor of Student Ministries at Central Presbyterian Church. It is my
privilege to recommend Saige Pacheo to you.
I have known Saige for the past several years. Saige is an outstanding student and person with many leadership skills and abilities. Saige has a wonderful service history behind her involving giving up her spring
break to build houses for the homeless in Mexico and giving of her time and talent weekly to work with
Junior High students where her leadership abilities have shined.
I have first hand experience of Saiges leadership ability in that she has led a small group of girls for the
past two years and has been an outstanding model of maturity for our large group of about 100 students
and leaders. She has excellent organizational skills and demonstrates a high degree of responsibility. She
is an eager learner and does an outstanding job at organize events and rallying volunteers.
She has demonstrated a teachable heart and responds well to guidance and direction. In addition, she offers
positive comments and can gently and patiently instruct others when necessary. I completely trust Saige
and her judgment. She is one of the finest students that Ive had the privilege of working with in the past 25
years. She has great potential and, if encouraged to grow in her abilities, she will flourish in leadership and
will make a huge impact on the people around her as well as the community in which she lives.
In addition, I know that Saige has had an excellent academics and a solid leadership record at Merced High
School. She is currently involved in FFA leadership at her High School on top of everything else she does.
She is loyal, driven, communicates vision and mission and she is a natural and gifted leader who has a
unique balance between when to allow for failure and when to step in an help others.
I am blessed to know Saige and to have her working with our programs. You will be wonderfully amazed
and pleased with her .
