Register Phone Authentication with Manager Approval

1. Go to the Phone Authentication Registration page located at:


https://phoneregistration.microsoft.com/
2. Click Register with Manager Approval.

3. In the next window, provide your phone number, PIN, manager information and agree to
the conditions. Click Register.

4. Your device will receive a verification phone call from the Phone Authentication Service.
Enter your Phone Authentication PIN followed by the # sign.
Once the PIN has been entered, the phone message will indicate your sign-in has
been successfully validated, goodbye.
Hang up to end the call.
5. You will receive an automatically generated email from the Phone Registration Service
with a 6-digit validation code.

6. Click the status page link in the email and enter the validation code at the portal, to
Confirm your Request and click Confirm. Click Sign Out.

Note: Your manager has 72 hours to approve the Phone Registration Authentication request.
After 72 hours, the request will be sent to your next level manager. If after another 72 hours the
request is not approved, you will need to resubmit your request to authenticate via Register
with Manager Approval, or Register with Smart Card.
7. To check the manager approval status of your registration at
https://phoneregistration.microsoft.com/, click Manage Registration and Approvals and
Check Your Registration Status.
8. When your manager has approved your request, you will receive the following email and
your registration will be complete.
