Introduction

Blending Option is a tool in Photoshop that would add effects to your design, making it
neat and easily visible. In order to add effects, you need to determine the layers which
you would like to add the effects on.

1. Select layer (on the layer panel or ctrl+click on the layer).


2. Double click on the selected layer (on the layer panel, or right click -> blending
option).
3. Select the effects which interests you.

Available effects are:


• Drop shadow
• Inner shadow
• Outer glow
• Inner glow
• Bevel & Emboss
• Satin
• Color Overlay
• Gradient Overlay
• Pattern Overlay
• Stroke
Drop Shadow – shadow behind layer

Outer Glow – glow outside layer


Inner Glow – glow inside layer

Bevel & Emboss – 3D effect


Satin

Color Overlay – Color on top of layer


Gradient Overlay – Gradient on top of layer

Pattern Overlay – Pattern on top of layer


Stroke – Boundaries outside of layer
