Proposal

Dear
Colleagues:
When
assigned
the
Project
Proposal
assignment
I
was
really
excited.
I
was
eager
not
only
to
put
the
skills
that
I
have
learned
in
practice
but
also
present
an
idea
that
I
was
really
passionate
about.
I
am
a
college
student,
I
am
here
to
gain
skills
that
I
can
use
to
get
me
a
better
and
higher
paying
job.
For
this
reason
I
decide
to
propose
a
project
that
would
make
it
easier
for
those
that
want
to
better
their
skill
the
opportunity
to
do
so
for
little,
and
in
some
cases
no
charge.
The
team
that
I
had,
shared
the
same
vision,
we
wanted
to
work
to
make
a
change
that
was
tangible.
I
have
learned
so
many
useful
and
valuable
skills
that
I
wanted
to
incorporate.
To
begin,
the
Six
Keys
of
Effective
Business
Communication
really
helped
me
and
my
team
lay
down
and
effective
foundation
for
the
project.
We
worked
to
keep
the
information
simple,
concise
and
direct.
Ease
ability
to
read
both
in
content
and
subject
matter
was
very
important
to
us.
We
also
focused
a
lot
on
the
principals
of
AIDA.
AIDA
helped
us
come
up
with
a
layout
that
would
be
engaging
but
also
encourage
the
person
reading
and
or
viewing
to
action.
This
was
very
important
to
us.
We
not
only
wanted
to
complete
the
assignment
in
a
timely
manor
but
we
also
wanted
for
those
that
wanted
to
increase
their
skills
to
do
so
if
they
so
choose.
These
and
many
more
techniques
were
used
throughout
the:
brainstorming,
drafting,
revision
and
completion
portions
of
the
project.
Every
step
of
the
way
we
consulted
with
one
another
to
ensure
that
we
were
within
the
guidelines
of
the
project
but
that
is
was
something
that
we
are
proud
of.
As
a
team
we
began
the
project
to
find
a
way
to
help
the
homeless
and
the
jobless
get
out
of
the
jaws
of
poverty.
After
doing
both
our
primary
and
secondary
research
we
found
that
college
students
and
college
graduates
are
very
interested
in
improving
many
of
their
business
skills.
Not
only
are
most
willing
to
take
advantage
of
such
projects
but
also,
they
were
surprised
that
such
free
programs
existed.
As a team we learned and grew together. We also were able to bring awareness and change to those that wanted it.
Sincerely,
Cesar Hernandez
