Activity 2.3 Module Review Questions and Module Practice

This document contains review questions and practice for a module on organizational structures and IT architectures. It asks about the evolution of functional silos in organizations and the differences between centralized, decentralized, and distributed IT architectures. Functional silos developed as organizations grew and divided work into departments and hierarchies. A distributed architecture, which shares applications and data between client and server, is most appropriate for ERP systems as it combines benefits of centralized and decentralized approaches.
