    I am writing you today with the intent to graduate from Buckingham Magnet Charter
    with the approval of my Senior Portfolio. I am excited to become a contributing
    member of society and to have the opportunity to better myself and the world
    around me. Upon graduating I plan to pursue higher education in the fields of
    science and business, which I feel would be rewarding. I sincerely wish that my
    Senior Portfolio will be approved of so I may state that I come from Buckingham
    Magnet Charter.
    I am convinced that I have gained the necessary skills required to graduate from
    Buckingham through my four years of learning here. My time as Mrs. Rauschs
    student has made me realize that I could be capable of a career in science and that
    I do enjoy it immensely. Mrs. Page woke up my love of science and Mrs. Rausch
    gave me some confidence in my ability. In our art classes Mr. Ford pushed me so
    that I could improve my skills, and with this I learned how to dedicate myself to a
    single thing for long periods of time. I spent several weeks on one painting at the
    end of my Junior year which was the most I had ever before put my full
    concentration into one thing without skipping off to something else. This dedication
    and concentration will likely be of great use to me in the adult world and I am
    thankful to have been at this school to learn these things.
    Upon my graduation from high school I plan to attend Marin Community College. I
    took some college classes during my time in Buckingham so I feel more prepared to
    attend a school outside of our immediate vicinity. I will take an array of classes that I
    find intriguing on top of my basic required classes and I will decide what field of
    science and/or business I would like to specialize in. After completing my two years
    in community college I will transfer to the college that has the best opportunities to
    learn what I need to learn. I would have worked diligently during my time in
    community college to ensure that I would be able to enter the college that I need.

    I will be awaiting the approval of my portfolio so I may continue with my academic


    life. I thank Buckingham Magnet Charter High School for all that it has taught me
    about myself, the world, and teaching. If I do not head into science I will seriously
    consider a career in education due to many excellent examples of the instructors at
    this school. Either way I am excited for my future after Buckingham despite my
    instructive years here.
