Garden of Love Child Care

April 2015 Newsletter

Hello Parents and Children:


I cant believe it is April already! April brings a lot of
exciting activities for the children to enjoy. This
months themes include No Place Like Outer Space
and All About Our Earth. We will celebrate Earth day
on the 22nd. We will participate in hands on activities
to help our Earth stay clean. The children will perform
a play for their family on the 30th. I will be sending
more information home about this event as it nears.
Throughout our newsletter you find information about
all of our upcoming events, and a few reminders.

On April 22 we will be visiting our local


playground to celebrate Earth Day. Children will
participate in cleaning up our playground. We will
leave the child care center at 10:00 and will
return at 2:00. I encourage parents or family
members to join us! The children will have a
picnic at the park as well.
I will be sending a permission slip home with the
children .

This month we are collecting paper towel and


toilet paper rolls for our classroom. We will be
creating projects and will need these items.
Thank you all for your helping hand with this
collection.
Also we will be collecting items for the animal
shelter this month such as can food and treats
for the animals. If you could help us out with
this it would be greatly appreciated.
I will have a box out front of the door for the
items.

Just a reminder of our pick-up policy:

Children who are picked up late will be


charged $5 every 15 minutes after closing
time of Garden of Love Child Care.

It is that time of year when
weather changes and children
are growing! We ask that you
send in an extra set of clothing
for your child.
