Lesson Clay Monsters

Students will create friendly clay monsters over 3-5 classes based on initial sketches. They will first sketch monster concepts and learn clay techniques like slip and scoring to construct pinch pots. In subsequent classes, students will apply these techniques to form their monsters from clay and add texture. They will then paint their monsters with acrylic paints and seal them with mod podge.
