This document contains tabulated data and graphs showing the relationship between mass flow rate (ṁ) and pressure (P0, P2, P3) in a flow experiment. The data table includes measurements of length (L), heights (h2, h3), pressures (P2, P3) and calculated values like pressure differences (P0-P2, P0-P3) and mass flow rate (ṁ). The graphs plot ṁ against the pressure differences and individual pressures. The analysis notes the theoretical relationship between decreasing back pressure and increasing mass flow, and identifies an issue with the first P2 reading assumed to be in a vacuum state already.

To find

P2 :

P2P0= mercury g h 2
P2=P0 mercury g h 2
P2=( 101350 ) (13600 )( 9.81 ) (0.075)
= 100340 Pa.
Same steps to find

P3 .

At mercury height=0,
mercury and the

P2 =101.35KPa. It balance the pressure between the

P2 . When the mercury height rises, its mean

decreasing. Note that at our first data.

P2

is

P2 = 0 at first reading. It is impossible.

It means it is already in vacuum state. So the flow maybe in supersonic already

or it is choked. So it is not logic. Other than that the theory said that when the
back pressure decrease, the mass of flow rate is increasing also.
That is the only correction in this calculation. The rest is the same steps except
for the values. But no worries all of them had been computed in the table and
tabulated in the graph.
Any question??? Whatsapp la
p.s.
I dont know how to make the title at the axis of the graph. Can you guys please
put the title at every axis Thank you.
