To access websites when away from the office using a work laptop, you need to amend the proxy settings in Internet Explorer. Amending Proxy Settings in Internet Explorer

If you have a work laptop and are unable to access any websites when out
of the office you may need to amend the proxy settings in Internet
Explorer. To do this, follow the steps below:
Open Internet Explorer, and click the Tools button, which is circled below.
Please note that in older versions of Internet Explorer there may be a
different button, which is labelled with the word Tools.

From the menu that appears select Internet Options.


When the Internet Options box opens click the Connections tab and then
click the LAN Settings button:

In the next box appears ensure that the tick box labelled Use a proxy
server for your LAN is unticked as shown in the screenshot below:

Click OK to close this box and then OK again to close the Internet Options
box.
You should now be able to access websites.
