    This workshop will focus on


    strategies and materials that move
    students from the earliest stages of

    reading and writing. New and revised materials
    from Animated-Literacy that meet the demands
    of Common Core will be discussed and modeled.
    New illustrated versions of the Animated-Alphabet
    stories, songs and sounds will be demonstrated to
    introduce the alphabet characters, gestures for sounds,
    story structure, vocabulary, and letters and letter
    patterns. These highly-motivating, developmentally
    sequenced methods are appropriate for use in preschool through second-grade, in special education,
    speech/language and with children learning English
    as a second language. Come prepared to have fun
    manipulating and playing with language!
