IMMUNITY

There are four types of immunity: natural, artificial, active, and passive. Natural immunity is developed after recovering from an infection. Artificial immunity involves vaccination to develop immunity without experiencing an infection. Active immunity occurs when the body produces its own antibodies in response to an infection or vaccine. Passive immunity provides temporary protection by transferring antibodies from another source.
