Learning Goals

Ariel Brown-Berkeley has two learning goals for her NURS: 250 course. Her first goal is to improve her leadership skills, including delegating tasks, prioritizing work, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team in order to provide the best patient care. She plans to attend workshops, listen to colleagues, and use textbooks as resources by April 2015. Her second goal is to apply the knowledge and skills learned in her nursing program to her clinical placement. She will properly assess patients, prioritize their needs, and use her team as a resource while meeting professional standards of care, placing patient safety first. Both goals will be evaluated based on her ability to resolve conflicts, protect patient rights, and develop competent nursing care plans
