Trowbridge Elementary K5 Spring 2015
Implemented the use of EngageNY Mathematics into the established math curriculum.
Supplemented the Journeys Reading Program through stations developed with student interests
and Common Core State Standards.
Constructed a nine week science unit on weather that used real life experiences with the Next
Generation Science standards.
Analyzed student assessments to create new small groups; differentiated lesson plans, IEPs, and
other learning styles/ needs.
Successfully adapted the use of a color code system for classroom management.
Parkside Trowbridge Elementary 3rd Grade Spring 2015
Planned, instructed and assessed students in an arts integrated classroom.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI, Club Manager
2010-Present
Managed a staff of 13 youth professionals to implement both educational and recreational
programs serving 300 students annually.
Supervised a team of 10 volunteers that individually averaged over 50 hours of service per
month in group and one on one tutoring settings with youth,
Developed and facilitated ten hours of professional development annually on topics such as
lesson planning, Common Core State Standard, bully prevention, brain breaks and Daily 5.

Coordinated with day school teachers to align classroom learning with afterschool activities.
Partnered with community organizations to increase the resources available to students during
after school hours such as Girl Scouts, Milwaukee Art Museum, Urban Ecology Center and St.
Ritas Community Garden.
Discussed student needs with families through multiple forms of communication.
Organized four family nights a year based on at home literacy and math games; supporting
families in the educational partnership of their children.
