Adding Non-Host Targets Manually
Adding Non-Host Targets Manually
Cloud Control allows the addition of hosts and a wide variety of Oracle software and
components as managed targets, as well as providing automatic discovery features. When
you add a target manually to Cloud Control, there is no need to go through the process of
discovery by adding the targets directly. The advantage of this method is that it eliminates
the need to perform discovery when not needed.
A configuration page or wizard based on the target type metadata listing the entire
instance properties required to manage the target is displayed.
