Learning Portfolio Rubric

This rubric evaluates student learning portfolios on four levels (1 through 4) based on four criteria: knowledge, thinking, application, and communication. For each criteria, level 4 demonstrates the highest degree of achievement, such as thorough knowledge or overwhelming evidence of creative thinking. Level 1 demonstrates the lowest degree of achievement, such as limited knowledge or drawing few conclusions. A student's portfolio is given a score out of 10 for each criteria, with the total score out of 50 determining the overall level achieved.
