    REPORT ON EXPERIENCE OF WAJ 3102(ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY I)
    SEMESTER 1 FEBRUARY 2012
    English Language Proficiency I as coded as WAJ 3102 is one of the effective requirement
    course for the ?
    This course has two papers and it is taken by student of semester 2. If the student fails on this
    course, he/she cannot enter examination. This means that it is important for every student to
    pass in this course. Furthermore, it is important for teacher to able to understand, can speak
    and write in English clearly. English itself is the bridge for teacher to learn other knowledge.
    2. The WAJ 3102 has two credit hours. However, due to the time constraint, it was held for one
    hour to cover contact hours. It was held on Saturday, started from 8 am till 830 pm. The course
    was conducted base on the syllabus.
    3. Every meeting needs to cover two topics. Student also needs to understand the topic clearly
    and take advantage in every meeting to ask question to lecturer.

    4. If there are question about the lectures performance, It can be describe that the class was
    tough but fun. We all the student are given opportunity to give our opinion directly in discussion
    with in group. Besides, we also can ask question directly to lecturer.
    5. It was a few problems in following this course. First, there is not enough time. The time
    should be longer so that we can have enough time to make discussion and asking direct
    question. Secondly, this course is difficult to understand. Beside, student has lack of
    concentration in following this course. In order to overcome the problem, I suggest that lecturer
    introduce the on-line learning. Beside, campus may prepare the proper facilities as laptop and
    internet to us so that the lecture may become more interesting. Also, these facilities will help
    student in finding information about their assignment.
    This course cost was given a discount, which is a 50-70% discount. In assessment, it is not too
    strict. Student was taken into consideration that their workload in school is a part time for them.
    As conclusion, this course is very useful and need a little improvement. Thanks to the lecture for
    the dedication in lecturing us.
