My Philosophy
As an early childhood
educator I am responsible for
providing young children with positive
learning experiences. Children should
be valued and provided with a sense of
self-worth. I believe in praising good
behavior and using positive
reinforcement to guide children. I
strive to provide children with the
tools they need to make positive
choices and decisions and to know
right from wrong
I is important to create a
healthy and safe environment that
allows children to be creative. During
the early stages of development
children are curious and see things
through a different lens. I encourage
children to use play to expand their
imaginations. Play is used as an outlet
for children to learn and to build social
skills. All furniture in my classroom is
appropriately sized to allow children to
be self-sufficient. I create a warm
and welcoming classroom for parents.
Parents are welcome and encouraged
to participate.
When teachers and parents
work together childrens learning
experiences are enriched. I value
children and am proud to have an
influence on their growth and future.
