    CODE,REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS

    The installation shall conform in all respects to Indian Standard Code of Practice for Electrical
    Wiring Installation I.S.732-1982. It shall also be in conformity withs the current Indian Electricity
    Rules Safety Codes and the Regulations and requirements of the Local Electrical Supply
    Authority. Wherever this specification calls for a higher standard of materials and/or workmanship
    then those required by any of the above regulatons, this specification shall take precedence over
    the said regulations and standards. In general, the materials, equipments and workmanship not
    covered by the above shall conform to the following Indian Standards(latest),unless otherwise
    called for. Nothing in the enclosed specification shall be construed to relieve the contractor of this
    responsibility.
