Results and Discussions: 4.1 Simulation Parameters

This document discusses the simulation parameters and results of a study comparing DWT-based and FFT-based WiBro models. It provides the simulation parameters used, including the software, modulation type, bandwidth, and frame details. It then shows the DWT-based WiBro model architecture and compares its bit error rate performance to the conventional FFT-based WiMAX model, finding the DWT-based model has a lower bit error rate.

4.2 Simulated WiBro Model:

Figure 4.1 DWT based WiBro model

Figure 4.1 Shows DWT based WiBro model architecture and it is compared with
conventional FFT based WiMAX model. The Bit Error rate is calculated for both the
model and it shows DWT based is performed well in compare to FFT based model for a
given Signal to Noise ratio.

4.3 Bit Error Rate Calculation

Figure 4.2 Comparison of BER between DWT and FFT based model.
Figure 4.2 shows the comparison of Bit Error Rate between DWT based and the FFT based
Model. The BER is reduced to considerable amount in DWT based WiBro model when
compared to Conventional FFT based model for a same Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR).
