Act I is typically 1/2 to 1 session. It establishes the characters' ordinary world and introduces a disturbance that upsets the status quo. Act II is usually 2-3 sessions where characters confront setbacks, problems, and obstacles as they pursue their objective. Act III is often just 1 session containing the climax and resolution, where characters have a final confrontation and their actions lead to a denouement.
