Size: Approx. 60"x80"


Use 1/4" seam allowance throughout.
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
3/4 yd calico for main portion of pillow case
1/8 yd coordinating calico A
1/2 yard coordinating calico B
Sewing machine
Iron
Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
1. From largest piece of calico, cut one 27"x40" rectangle
2. From coordinating calico A, cut one 3"x40" rectangle. With long edges and wrong sides together, fold and
press. Pin to one 40" edge of large rectangle.
3. From coordinating calico B, cut one 11"x40" rectangle. Pin 40" length to large rectangle and folded band;
sew together. Press seam allowance toward 11" rectangle. Press 1/2" along remaining long side of
11" rectangle.
4. Bring folded edge to the wrong side of case, placing folded edge slightly over seam. From right side, stitch
in ditch catching folded edge.
5. With right sides together, stitch across remaining side seam and bottom edge. Turn and press.
