report will cover?

Have you summarized the report so far and drawn valid


conclusions from your analysis?
Are your conclusions logical, unbiased and supported by
substantial, credible evidence?

Do your conclusions answer the questions or issues raised in


the introduction?

What did you analyze? How did you analyze it?

What did you find? What did you observe during your
investigation?

What key issues or problems did you clearly identify?

Have you categorized and sequenced your findings which

Recommendations

What do your findings suggest?

Have you interpreted the results of your investigation (cause,


implications, importance) rather than simply listed them?

Have you suggested logical reasons for what your


investigation uncovered?

Be specific and use evidence (facts, observations, data,


research, etc.) to support all your assertions.

Have you clearly communicated the action you suggest the


reader should take?
Is there a clear relationship between the recommendations to
the chosen problem it will solve?
Have you ensured your recommendations are feasible, logical,
and have a clear relationship to your Conclusions section?
Have you presented your recommendations convincingly?
Will your reader clearly see the benefits to be gained by
following your recommendations?
Are your recommendations ethical, legal, and sensitive to
cultural differences?
Are your action plans SMART (specific, measurable,
achievable, results-oriented and time-bound)? (action plans
are not required for your LABU recommendation report)
