Agreement
In Structure Section of TOEFL, there will be a lot of questions related to agreement. Agreement is
whether the elements in a sentence can be equal each other. So for example, if the subject is singular, the verb
has to be singular too. It also goes for all the other part of speech in the sentence.
e.g.
The materials of previous lecture cant be understood easily by the students and has to be revised.

It is very important to all students to search for the subject and verb in the sentence. In the previous
example we can see that the materials of previous lecture is the Subject of the sentence. Then take a look to the
verb. The verb in the sentence consists of two verbal phrase, cant be understood and has to be revised. One key
in Structure section is not to look the words are not underlined because those words are already correct. That is
why in this case, we just pay attention to options A and D. In option A, the subject is plural while in option D,
the verb is singular. Thats why the option D doesnt go with the Subject. The answer is D. Now lets practice!
