The API Monogram Program approved the withdrawal of Union Connections as a product eligible for monogramming under API Spec 16C. Manufacturers of monogrammed Union Connections must cease applying the API Monogram as of June 3rd, 2014. Current API Spec 16C licensees have two options: transition to an ISO registration that includes manufacturing Union Connections, which requires audit fees; or take no action and have Union Connections removed from their license on June 3rd. Revised certificates will be issued during upcoming audits.
