Dear Parents and Caregivers,


Thank you very much for your positive responses to help out with transport to and from camp, it is very much
appreciated. There have been surplus to requirements on one day, but a shortage in others. Please if you can
help out during the times of shortage, then can you please, fill in the form below and let me know as soon as
possible this week.
Please look very carefully to see if you are required to help out on a certain day and also if you are required
to bring a trailer or not, if there are any errors (and there are bound to be a few), please inform me straight
away.

As you can see we will need some assistance to bring students back to school on both the Wednesday for
Group A and Friday for group B. If you can possibly help out then please fill in the form below and bring it back

To the parents coming to camp and staying overnight:


Please find a health form in your childs bag that must be completed and handed back to Linda
Pavitt by Friday. Thank you once again for your help and assistance. It is very much appreciated.
Parents who are coming for day trips:
You are very welcome to come and spend the day with your child at camp. Please fill in a form that
will be at the Lodge letting everyone know who is at camp for the day. Please sign out when you
leave. You will need to bring your own food and drink for the day.

Final Notice:
All students have now received a gear list which is inside their camp booklet to help assist you with the
packing.
Your child will need to take with them 1 large bag (with their name on it) for clothing and a sleeping bag or
duvet and sheets. Please name all belongings and do not tie bags together as they do become very tangled
with other luggage during the trip.
They will also need to take with them a day pack, inside this pack should be morning tea and lunch for the first
day, any medication (Asthma Inhalers, Epi pen), a drink bottle and a raincoat incase the weather turns
inclement. Good walking shoes are important as the students will be walking around the peninsula on the first
morning.

ON THE DAY OF GOING TO CAMP;CAMP PARKING AND MEETING


Your child needs to be at Metro Park car park down the road from school, no later than 8:15am on the
Monday and Wednesday morning of their departure to camp. Due to the horrendous parking challenges we
face each day getting our students to school we have decided that it would be safer and more logical to meet
everyone down at the Metro Park car park just down the road. There we can safely load up trailers and cars
and students and parents can leave for camp.
Coming back home will be different as there will be plenty of chance to unload before the end of the school
day, and cars and trailers can come in to school
All necessary medicine needs to be handed in first thing Monday morning. Please make sure that it is in a zip
lock bag, well named and a copy of directions for administering the medicine is also placed inside the bag.
(Asthma Inhalers, Epi Pens can be kept by the individuals, but inform the health carers of the camp)
We anticipate our arrival back to school at approximately 2:15pm on Wednesday for Group A and 2:15 pm on
Friday for Group B.
