This document outlines the syllabus for the course MA-1010: Calculus - I: Functions of One Variable taught by M.T. Nair. The syllabus covers four main topics: sequences and series, differential calculus, integral calculus, and series of functions. It includes the study of limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, and convergence of sequences and series. References for further study are Thomas and Finney's Calculus and Analytical Geometry and Ghorpade and Limaye's A Course in Calculus and Real Analysis.
