(1) From this brief description of the company, predict the likelihood of a
successful project?
A) The project may not be a successful project. Likelihood of this project to be
successful is 50 to 60%. The main role of superintendent is to complete the
day to day operations with in time and he has no experience in managing the
complex constructions projects. He doesnt give value to the suggestions
and ideas given by the workmen which leads to unsuccessful project.
The main reasons; -there is no team work between superintendent and
workmen.
-Superintendent has over confidence.
(2) Is it possible for Weber to develop the trust of the president by talking and
appearing knowledgeable?
A) It is impossible for Weber to develop the trust of president because once the
trust is lost it cannot be rebuild. If he gets realized for his mistakes then
there is chance to develop the trust of the president.
(3) Assuming Weber was successful on smaller electrical projects as a crew or
general foreman, what capabilities must he possess to run his current
project?
A) Weber should have good management skills and he should consider every
workmen ideas and suggestions. Daily or weekly meetings should be
conducted to discuss about the project. Good relationships should be
maintained with everyone.
