Task: Procedure to Sterilize Tools and Equipment

Arrange tongs, metallic trays, hygienic sheets, sanitizer and sterilizer.

Clean your hand with liquid sanitizer or soap.

Select tools and equipment that require sterilization.

Place the tools and equipment on the metallic tray that requires
sterilization into sterilizer.
Switch on the sterilizer.

Set time of the sterilizer: for metallic tools 10-15 minutes; for plastic
tools 05 minutes; and for rubber/sponges/glass material 02-03 minutes.
Un-plug the sterilizer before removing the tools and equipment
from sterilizer after lapse of given time.
Remove tools and equipment from sterilizer with the help of tong.

Store sterilized tools and equipment in hygienic sheet for next job.

Store the tongs, metallic trays, sanitizer and sterilizer in proper place.
